LCFS is the Outreach Ministry of Jesus Word Center Church. We believe in serving God’s people and the community. We serve the entire person, naturally and spiritually and we focus on the present or "felt" need of the people. In remembering the Words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35 - 40 "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." When we touch the lives, of others, we have touched the heart of the Savior. You will find us always busy doing the will of the Father through one of the following ministries or by Changing Lives by the Word and Power of God. We invite you to join one or all of ministries and experience the love of Jesus Christ.
Jireh Food Pantry
is a resource for the community that provides food to families in need. Our desire is to help rid the community of needles hunger of our children and the families that care for them by suppling staples and personal items for those in need. Distribution is available to recipients on Thursday’s from 10:00 to 12:00 each week.
Community Garden
Safe Haven After School Program
provides a safe place for children to go after school where they receive tutoring, help with homework, a healthy meal and social activities that provide they outlet they require to express themselves. A well rounded program that is available after school and when school is in recess without cost the the family.
High School Diploma Program
Shammah House
is currently in the construction process, a residential home for women re-entering life after prison. Shammah House will provide temporary housing, parenting classes, and job assistance. Mothers' will have assistance reuniting with their children, families and community while being supported in every area.

This garden was started in conjunction with AARP for the benefit of the North Lawndale Community. North Lawndale sits in the middle of a food desert and this Garden affords access to fresh fruit and vegetables. The Garden is open to the residents of the community to share in the maintenance and produce of the garden. Open June Though October.
